Description

These peeled carrots help in the preparation of this delicious juice high in vitamins and joyful in nature. Ideal for breakfast or a snack, this juice could not be simpler to make and tastes fantastic.

Ingredients
  • 6 large carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 medium apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 piece -inch of fresh ginger, peeled (optional)
  • 1 of Juice lemon
  • 2 cups water
  • Honey or agave syrup, to taste (optional)
  • Optional Ingredients:
  • Ginger: Adds a zesty kick and additional health benefits.
  • Honey or Agave Syrup: Sweetens the juice if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  • Cinnamon or Turmeric: Can be added for extra flavor and health benefits.
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Carrots:

    Peel and chop the carrots into smaller pieces to make blending easier.

  2. Prepare the Apple:

     Core and chop the apple. You can leave the skin on for added nutrients.

  3. Optional Step - Ginger:

     If using ginger, peel and chop a 1-inch piece.

  4. Juicing:

    In a blender or juice extractor, combine the chopped carrots, apple, and ginger (if using). Add the water.

  5. Blend:

    Blend the mixture until smooth. If using a blender, you may need to blend in batches.

  6. Strain (Optional):

    For a smoother juice, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher. Press down with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.

  7. Add Lemon Juice:

     Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into the carrot juice. Stir well.

  8. Sweeten (Optional):

    Taste the juice and add honey or agave syrup if desired. Stir until well mixed.

  9. Serve:

    Pour the carrot juice into glasses. Serve immediately over ice or chilled.

  10. Store:

    If you have leftovers, store the juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
