  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)

Instructions
  1. Prepare the Vegetables:
    • Peel and cube the potatoes.

    • If using, chop the green chili.

    • In a large pan or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat
  3. Add Cumin Seeds:
    • Once the oil is hot, add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant.
  4. Sauté the Onions:
    • Add the chopped onions to the pan. Sauté until they turn golden brown.
  5. Add Ginger-Garlic Paste:
    • Add 2 teaspoons of ginger-garlic paste and cook for a couple of minutes until the raw smell disappears.
  6. Cook the Tomatoes:
    • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate from the mixture.
  7. Add Spices:
    • Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, and 1 teaspoon of garam masala. Stir well to combine.
