They reside on a buttery shortbread base and give a gooey pecan layer with the pecan pie's sweet and buttery flavors but in a bar shape. These Pecan Pie Bars are perfect for any event or even just for snacking, these will surely satisfy your taste buds.

Ingredients
    For the Shortbread Crust:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • For the Pecan Filling:
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
